Ditto. I have no problem with how things are being handled now. Quite honestly I think at times it has been too lenient. Shoot, once or twice I would have even warned myself.  Do you think it should have it's own set of say four or five mods? That is a great idea. It would make it easier on the Mods by reducing the responsibility.

I think the main Jaguars board is the one that needs the most moderation. The Sideline is much more civil. The number of mods required is likely best determined by you.
As for whether the Mods are known or not, I find irrelevent.
More important, in my view, is that posters are treated fairly and similarly, and user-mods, above all else, should lead by example, while not letting a posters politcal leanings influence his/her judgement. (even if the mod is in agreement with me on any given issue)

Name the mods and tell us who they are though, I think knowing exactly who the Mod is eliminates all worries of someone hiding as has been accused in the past. Which, IMO is what caused a lot of the strife that I've seen in recent months. You will know who all the mods are tomorrow...if they choose to remain mods

| | Back to the question. And I hate to say this but since a forum like the sideline can tend to attract Shall we say varied tastes it should be moderated more intently than a pure football thread. The main thing is that the moderation must be consistent. I know that's difficult but every attempt should be made to attain consistency. It may require more attention from the moderators than it has had in the past. I'm the last person to encourage more moderation but if it's going to work that will be needed. I can't believe I Said that. PRAISE MOD!!!
