JID was kind enough to allow me to put up a temporary thread for us to communicate ideas for a new place for us to meet and carry on the tradition of the sideline. This thread will likely be posted for a limited time, so we need to get to work quickly on this.

As we all know, most of us have made great friendships with others here and enjoy discussing other topics. We need to find a new place to do this from here on. This thread will be the place to come to an agreement on what place that will be and to get the word out to the others as well.

Since we have a limited time to do this, please come up with suggestions, and let the others know about this. When we reach a consensus, we can form an official "sideline group" and carry on the tradition.

I will always be around on the Jags board, and will be easy to find there. I have a deep rooted love of the sideline, and this was the best comprimise I could come up with.

Let's make this happen sideliners!

Thanks,

Paul

Would it be too complicated to just open up a new website? That way we didn't have to follow the rules of anyone's but our own, and knowing us we will have none.

If everyone signs up to IMDB, there are thousands of unused boards on pages of editors, stunt-men, sound department people, one-time actors, etc..... I think that could be fun, for a little while.  I was going to post a link, but you have to be registered to access it.   As far as I can tell, there will be no regulation.   You can report a post/thread, but it has to be for something legit.

I was thinking about that, but I'm too lazy to create/design one.

There is already a discussion in the works about that, MM.

There's tons of free message board hosting sites if you just google "build your own message board".

 TMD on Mike Walker Sep.7:
"because he stinks"
"Why don't you get it? WTH has this player done, besides be an OTA wonder?"
"In the exhibition games, he's shown eggo hands."
"It's like you people are truly shocked/ mystified/ surprised that Harris produced another bust."

Everyone on here knows that I work on websites. So I've done quite a few message board layouts for my clients.

In this case... I've expressed the possibility of me hosting a message board like this one on my server. I would need a new domain name though.

I do not want my website interlocked with sideline message board.

J a g n a t i o n has a general forum much like our sideline.

If we switched to that site, then we could all stick together on a jaguar site.
