| There will be some who will say some of us ruined The Sideline, but the PTB we ruined it with a seriously flawed CoC and user moderating system. So be it, it's their board. I don't regret any post I've made, and have had some fun times here. But it's time to move on.

I suppose the administration thinks that not having a forum for non-football related discussion will keep people from talking about things that aren't football.
What will actually happen is you will have off topic threads in the wrong forums and the threads that are on topic won't stay that way for long.That's what we tried to tell them.
If you have constructive criticism, feel free to contact me and I'll take your complaints into consideration. I don't like haikus. |

| Seriously though guys, I doubt I'll be back (probably partially the intention of this to run myself and a few others off). This board has finally become as lame as the ones in charge of it.
To Liv, Jonesy, Jagu, Real Deal, Fargin, and the rest of the Sideline crew: It's been real.
To the rest of you: meh.
EDIT: To JM8: Thanks for actually being a competent mod, and thanks again for getting me reinstated when the N-Turn tried to keep me permanently suspended.

| There were a few mods that campaigned hard to try to keep the Sideline because of the fact that this is a community board and the sideline did serve a specific purpose.
It's not something that we're any more happy about than those that use the sideline as a way to have a little non-football related fun.
The good news is that on the new board the mods won't be transparent to the users. You will know who we are as if that is any real mystery currently.

| It makes you wonder how many of the suspensions, warnings and bannishments occurred in The Sideline. I think this forum was the one that some people tried to use to destroy the board. Why RAM political discussions down everyones throats, I just don't understand. No means no, simple.
