Hey,

To start with, Palmer is out and that means things couldn’t be any better for us. The Bengals are a team that can’t stop the run and neither stop the passing game. We have to worry about varying the plays and they will just drown alone in their weakness in both aspects.

Defensively we also have, lets face it, a piece of cake game. Any pass rush works against them, both Ryan and Palmer are sacked all the time, that’s that time for Groves and Harvey. Ryan isn’t great, far from that, in 4 games he has thrown 5 interceptions, but we need to take care of Houshmandzadeh, he’s the target and is their best player. Knowing about Ryan limitations, they try to run a lot. Are they good? No. Perry, their best RB, can’t simply run the football.

Even with our limitation this season, we are much better than that and I don’t think this game is gonna be a real problem for us, at least it shouldn’t.

What are your thoughts?

I think we'll see what this teams resolve is.

If they come out focused with a good game plan and play solid football, we'll at least be pointed in the right direction.

If they come out trying to do too much and pressing and start making mistakes, not so good.

It's not gonna be an easy game.

We have a lot of exploitable weaknesses, and they'll be pressing those.

They're gonna have a lot of fight in them, and if the ball bounces their way, and we make too many mistakes, we could be in trouble.

With that being said, I expect to see a solid, consistently sound football game outta the Jaguars.

Run the ball effectively, timely passing, completing third downs on offense.

Defensively, back to the cover two, get some pressure up front, maybe toss in a few blitzes, make good tackles, no big plays given up, stop them on third down.

GO JAGUARS!

Def expect the Bengals to try and pass all over us on Sunday with Henry, Johnson, and TJ.  That is the Bengals one chance to beat us.  If they get their passing offense hot, then we will be in for a LONG day.

Thats it. I think thats the only chance they have against us, it has worked once against the Giants and they almost won. Our defense are not doing very well and thats a concern i have, but i think all the staff must be aware of it, and running the football is something they will barely do fine.
