Vic - "I'll tell you what; I said it at the end of last year and I'm going to say it again now... I believe Reggie Nelson could be the solution at CB.  When you put a guy at CB and he has the athletic ability to do it...
#1 He's not a real good tackle, #2 physical football is not his game..."

Sexton - "Right"

Vic - "His game is athletic ability.  Here's a guy who can run, jump, turn his hips... the whole bit.  You take a guy like that, you put him in coverage... He doesn't have to bother with all the schemes and getting everybody into position and all that stuff..."

Sexton - "Just lock him down and play him."

Vic - "Yeah. Here... go! Cover here!  And I think he could do it."

Lageman - "I think that that was kinda the original plan this year.  Different defense, more man, got a Safety that can play man in Reggie Nelson, then all of a sudden..."

Thanks for that. I have no doubt he has the athletic ability, but I always figured the worst part of his game was is man on man. I just assumed they would have tried it already.
