ok.. i can see porter sitting, he was hurt, and hasnt showed anything since being injured... but what on earth is going on with florence.... Has anyone seen him do bad? blow coverages? get beat? I know i havent... i havent seen him getting interceptions, but i havent seen him play bad at all...
now we are going to move another 30 mill to the bench... and move williams, who is EXCELLING at safety and in the slot to CB... and move the inferior player in sensabaugh to full time SS?????
did anyone notice this last game? guess what happened when florence came in on the nickel package? florence would go to the outside CB spot, and williams would go to the Nickel...
so let me get this strait, hes not good enough to play CB on the outside on base, but in nickel he's better on the outside than williams??? so he's better on the outside in nickel, but not in base...
WHAT ON EARTH.... is this team imploding?? they are seeming to make STUPID decisions... the front office is dealing out all this money to then bench them??
florence has done nothing to be demoted...
basically... who would you rather have on the field... sensabaugh or florence... the team feels sensabaugh is the better option... what games are they watching...
this is ridiculous... 60 mill on the bench... TMD... im about as close as you can get to wanting a whole new FOLol, please tell me you are joking... name ONE time buddy... you wont, cuz you cant Dude, he was beat for a touchdown against Cleveland.

Sense is better at SS then Florence is at #2 CB. Unfortunate the FO brought in another huge bust in FA. Florence was brought in to be a quality #2 CB to Mathis but him and James have been very inconsistent at best and just flat terrible at worst.what are you talking about? how has sensabaugh been a better SS? he has missed tackles, been terribly slow to react in coverage. yes, james has been terrible. but how has florence been terrible? i love how no one gives examples, just says things with nothing to back it up... being moved to nickel... IS BEING BENCHED, especially when he plays on the outside still when he's in Everyone knows how much you like Mathis. According to you, he's been nearly perfect all year long. You also say that Williams has performed well, and Florence is playing well, too. If that's the case... who is being thrown on?? Our secondary, as a unit, is horrible right now.

IMO I think that Reggie Nelson needs to be moved over to CB as he would be much better in man to man coverage than trying to understand the whole defensive scheme which is obviously over his head. Move B-Dub to FS and then Sensabaugh at SS... Next year draft a prospect at SS..... Sensabaugh is a great athlete someone just needs to teach him how to tackle instead of throwing a shoulder into people. It has to be embarrasing for Del Rio who is known for his defensive prowless to have such a poor tackling team. |

While the secondary has given up quite a few big plays, a lot of that is due to the lack of a pass rush. Our secondary, as a unit, is not horrible right now. If the secondary change is being made b/c our blitzes aren't working (meaning we should run more zone) as Vic suggests, what's the larger problem? The secondary or the pass rush? We're fortunate that we have the depth to make these changes and can adjust to a different scheme. |

| I don't really like tooting my own horn, but Mathis/Williams/Florence with Nelson/Sensabaugh at safety was what I predicted the secondary to look like all preseason.
I caught a lot of flack for that. |
