I'd say that's definitely not a way to get a leg up in life

Which put that thing so close to the field?

I always come to my conclusions by careful, scientific observation.
But only if the results of said careful, scientific observation fully corroborate my biased opinion.

Yeah Prothro's was pretty bad too, but the one I originally posted is literally the worst one I think I've ever seen.  And the video is so clear of his leg just snapping in half.  Poor kid, all because they couldn't move the dang cart.

This is the worst football injury ever.

Almost had to have his leg amputated.

I'm not even going to watch these. When I was in high school, a friend of mine had his leg broken in a Theisman-like manner, and we could hear it snap in the stands. Luckily, it healed and he had no issues after, but I'll never forget that sound.

wow, that really is a terrible sight. The worst part about the whole thing is that it could've been easily avoided.

Ehh I know what you mean. It's out of morbid curiosity though.

I'm glad know one got a picture of mine but people told me on the sideline they heard it snap. Glad your friend was okay afterwards.

Don't forget about Ty Detmer on MNF and Willis McGahee during the Fiesta Bowl. But this is by far the worst injury I've ever seen.
