| | I'd say the loss of Manning to the clots would be far worse than any other single injury on any team. The loss of Brady is second, but a distant second. In the case of the Jags, they had good depth on the OL. They just didn't have enough depth to overcome the loss of 4 players in one week. The Jags were able to plug in guys and eventually become productive, and I'd list the Jags OL injuries farther down compared to other possiblilties around the league. Playing Meester so much last Sunday was probably a mistake, and I think Norman would have done a better job. The Jags biggest problem is not the OL injuries, but the complete lack of a pass rush. You can blame the rookies for not producing, but I think it goes mostly to coaching. Spicer has dropped off, Hayward has dropped off, and Hawkins dropped so far he was cut after flashing star pass-rush potential his rookie year. On the interior DL, Henderson has been less productive, Landi has been all but invisible, and Rob Meier has become the anti-Garrard after being handed a starting job. I would expect a player or two to have a bad season, but all of the defensive linemen at the same time?
