the last few weeks he has been solid, playing well enough to win...i just read the clip from Vic's article on the home page

This has become a one-man team. Of the Jaguars’ 380 total net yards, Garrard accounted for 342 of them. That’s not Jaguars football.

so far on the season these are Garrard's key stats:

Completion % = 65.3% - this isnt too bad, its above average

Touchdowns = 6 - not too good

Interceptions = 4 - doesn't look good compared to the TDs, but he hasn't thrown any in the last 3 games

Sack = 18 - thats an average of 2.25 per game, not very good but he is behind a bad line

Rushing Yards/AVG = 161/4.4 - this isnt too bad, he has made big play runs when we need them, 59 yarder Sunday and the tying TD against the texans

He was making some questionable plays early in the season, but the last 3 games he has been on point

In case anyone needs a clue.
Pick a number between 1 and 100, Add 52, Now subtract 7, Add 4, Subtract 13, Subtract the number you started with, Divide by 2, Add 7, Multiply by 4 then subtract 9 ... Viola there's your clue.
Sam

Priceless.

I would say he is back to last seasons form. I think the interceptions early in the year really hurt his potential growth (ignoring all the line issues). He still has a few more steps to take to be elite

He was dreadful the first three games, but he has picked it up since then. If he remains at this level, I would be happy with it.

He'd be alot better if all our WRs outside of Jones didn't suck or could stay health. Porter and Williams should be cut at year's end. Walker is better than either.

He'd be a lot better if he could throw an accurate pass down field.

I saw him throw one to Troy Williamson while Khalif was caught for holding.

Wow.  The GM is now "cow manure".  It's "not personal" though, right TMD?  You are truly a douche.

He's 2nd in the AFC with the second lowest number of INT's (4) and is in the thick of it with the other AFC QBs in terms of yardage, around 1,500. Rivers has just over 2,000. If Garrard catches fire in the next two games with multiple TDs and no picks, he'll be one of the top QBs in the AFC. What fans don't realize is that one of his greatest strenghts in protecting the ball and not giving it away and with the HORRIBLE receivers he has. He's made chicken salad out of chicken s hit.

Pro Bowl voting begins for him now!
