how many eat crow posts of "your boy Phil Savage's Browns couldn't beat Harris' Jags, had the Jags won that game.

I'm not making this post with the intent of making others eat crow, but pointing out the double standard that when the shoe is on the other foot, nary a peep from the same people.

& I know you would have done it.....just look at all the Quentin Moses referensces/ posts I still see thrown in my direction,.

Phil Savage is a better GM than James Harris, and lets leave it at that and put that to rest.

Congratulations to the 2008 WORLD Champions, your Philadelphia Phillies!

I can imagine...it would've been like when MJ got busted after OTA's. The whole front page would've been threads that all said the same thing.

Phil Savage is picking in the top 10 every year. His team went 10-6 last year on the weakest schedule you've ever seen (only ONE win against a team over .500, and it was the seahawks 33-30).

When was the last time Savage picked a good player that wasn't the overall consensus #1 at his position? (must be easy to hit on picks when you're in the top 10 every year, and every player you take is the consensus #1 for that position).

case closed.

Do you not realize how much browns fans hate Savage?

.. on vince young
David: he will find a way to throw this game away
David: even tho they already lost
Naddy: i need chargers to get a pick 6 to help out my playoff challenge
David: me too
David: that'd be nice

I would have stuck with Poliwhine, dog. At least he has a playoff win with his current regime.

LOL, Harris signs turds, drafts turds. Congratulations. If you think that game proves anything about GM's you are insane.

It's a moot point. Phil Savage could've had the Jaguars GM job, but Weaver was afraid to turn total control, which Savage wanted, over to one man, after his experiences with Coughlin. Savage turned Weaver down, and until the Browns win a playoff game under his regime, he's just another NFL GM chasing a dream. Any Savage vs. Harris comparisons are just for dead horse abusers.
