It's because Marvin Harrison has finally aged and his legs are gone.  He no longer has the suddenness, explosion, quickness, speed, etc.  There is no separation in his routes anymore.  One of the greatest WRs of all time has finally reached the end.  He was the guy that scared defenses.  With him neutralized with one corner, they are a different offense altogether.

Also, the fact that they have a very limited RB in Rhodes doesn't help either.

Anyone else agree?

I agree Harrison is slower but remember this was the team that beat the Ravens 31-3 a few weeks ago.   Addai makes a big difference on offense and Bob Sanders makes a big differnce on D.

The Colts .... if they ever get healthy .... will be right in the mix, albeit playing away in the playoffs (which may not be a bad thing).

Addai is an upgrade over Rhodes but that's not saying much.

I think Harrison's play is the biggest factor.  Maybe i'm wrong.  As the Rams were considered an awful team just 3 weeks ago until they beat Dallas and Washington and nearly beat NE.  HA HA.  That's the way the NFL works.  You think you have something figured out and everything changes.

Just like everyone used to say that Indy used to pass the ball to set up the run.  Well, now everyone is saying that they can't run the ball.  So why not just pass to open up the running game?  Nothing is as it seems.  If it was that easy, Indy would've thrown to set up the run.  It looked so easy for them for years.  Just open up the passing game and you have 7 defenders in the box and Manning checks off to the favorable side.

But the Harrison i saw yesterday looked below average.  I mean he couldn't separate and if i'm not mistaken, he had a lot of single coverage.  Harrison in his prime would've destroyed single coverage and been open by a few yards almost every time due to his precise route running and incredible quickness and speed.  His legs are just no longer there.  It happens to EVERY one.  Age is a bi*ch.  We all slow down at some point.  I think Harrison has finally slowed down.
