Jags are not going to talk to any other coacher, I am sure they have their mind right with Del Rio.  Whats with everyone blaiming the coach, It's not his fault that everyone played bad.

Bottom line, it's the DC who is responsible for the defense, and Del Rio for the entire team. The buck stops there.

Wow.  The GM is now "cow manure".  It's "not personal" though, right TMD?  You are truly a douche.

While "players not plays" is the new hot phrase to throw around it is only part of the equation.  If a coach is not evaluating talent correctly and running schemes that fit to the talents of your players then he is failing at his job.

If we don't have the players to run, say a deep slant, (even if it is the right play call at the time) and the play fails than yes, players not plays.  However, if we continue to call that play knowing we don't have the proper personel to execute it blame begins to fall on the coaches.

In other words, if something is continuously not working and you continue to attempt the same failing schemes and plays than something has to change.  Usually that something is the coach.

because it is not politically correct to place the blame on the front office, re: Shack.

The personnel is the problem here, but all most people want to do is blame the coaches.

It's pitiful, really. But not surprising.

The Jaguars are not tough anymore, nor are they fast. The Jaguar defense is now a bunch of mediocre guys playing in a league of pros.

Yeah, but maybe the plays that are being called ARE the best plays for the personnel we have and yet they STILL cannot execute. The coaches know via practice what plays have the highest percentage chance of working for what personnel they put on the field at  a given time, and they aren't going to call a play that they think has the lowest chance of working out with the given personnel.

The problem is, as I said before, there is just a LACK of playmakers all oer this roster.  Stick your head n the sand, or keep overrating these players all you want. Thats your problem.

The Jags problem is a lack of playmakers.

Agreed.

But make sure we assess NO blame to the front office for this. Even though it is directly traced to them.

Lets put the blame on Jack & the coaches, even though Vince Lombardi in his prime couldn't win with this group of "talent".

Colts AND Chargers look good.

according to you they are both the most talented teams in the league but they are both worse than the Jags with WAY LESS injuries.

Did Shack bully you in high school?
