| | if we win out in the afc south and the colts beat the titans do we still make the playoffs i cant remember if it works like that in the nfl or if we need the better record but it seems like we could lose the rest of the non afc south games and still make the playoffs with only 3 more wins of the titans colts and texans |

| | thats what i originally thought but dont the winners of the divisions make the playoffs and if we win out and the colts win today we would win the division |

| In order to win the division, you have to have the best record in the division. It's highly unlikely that we'll catch the Titans at this point.
There are 6 seeds into the playoffs.
4 Division winners get the top 4 seeds.
From there, the two teams with the best overall record NOT winning their division get the 5 and 6th wildcard seeds.
