| | I have scanned the board this morning and witnessed the usual after a tough loss what i would like to start a discussion on is practical solutions for the team for the upcoming weeks. And I dont wanna hear about lets go out and sign this guy or that guy i want to hear practical solutions internally as JDR referenced... Here are some of my thoughts: 1. Defensive Tackles- Switch up the Tackle Rotation. Give More time With 66 &98 as Landri provides a Nice contrast to Big Hen, and Can use his speed effectivly while big hen swallows up the Double Teams. Also lets get a closer look at #73 in a more prominent role, and 96 in a less prominant role if for any other reason but to try to motivate Mcdaniel to play better. 2. DE- Make Harvey the Full time Starter And Put 97 back in the rotation. If this kid is going to be the future at DE No time like the present to get him more experience. Also work on the snap count with 93. 3. Make a Decison about your secondary and stick with it. Either 29 is your starting SS or CB, and 21 is either your CB or Nickel, let them play together and get some continuity. 4.) As for the Lb's the play hasn't been great but i think they are all playing their proper position, see what happens by shaking up the DLine and go from there. Most of the poor LB play seems to be a result of the OL getting to the next level and attacking them. As for the offense I would like them to be more flexible within the gameplan. It seems like once D Koetter Has something in mind he gets stubborn with it inspite of its success or failure within the game. ( A Good example was yesterday continuing to Run at Shaun Rogers even though he was dominating the line of scrimmage.) Get MOJO More in Space.... Screens, In the Slot attacking LB's Etc Let Fred Try to get a Rhythm.... Just my 2cents.... the situation is urgent but plenty of time remains in the season.... I look forward to hearing yours.. Easier said than done. Hope we get to the playoffs and if not time to start rebuilding.

| what i couldnt understand was the countless numbers of 2nd and 2's and 2nd and 3's we would have and instead of running we would pass incomplete and have a 3rd down...
on the drive we turned it over on 4 downs... we had a 2nd and 2... and didnt run for the first down
Rashean the I-N-T Machine Mathis- best CB in the game
TMD's "predictions" so far for 08 season:
-Minnesota and Philly in the NFC championship game with Minnesota in the Superbowl
-Denver Broncos in the AFC championship game
-Houston a top 5 rushing team in the 09 season
-Houston seeded higher in the playoffs than the jags
- jags finishing 9-7 at best
- Browns finish better than the Jags
-Jags finish last in the AFC South after a bad showing in the preseason
TMD and I have a bet for $100 on the Jags wins
-Denver winning the AFC West LOL
-Bengals over Jags 24-21

| Continue to teach the players on Defense the skills that they need to get off of blocks.
Reinforce gap integrity and how to maintain your gap.
Continue to teach the Offensive Linemen how to sustain a block and to maintain contact throughout the play.
The team that blocks and tackles the best is the team that will win.
Go heavy early.
You do not maintain perfection, you work for it everyday.
