This team lacks the fire it needs to be a champion. Go out and get a proven WINNER! It starts with the top and oozes on down. Bill Cowher is a great coach and he turns players into GREAT players. Pay him what he wants and you will fill the seats with fans who WILL SEE a team that is kicking A** on Sundays.

Problem solved.

dumbest thing i've heard all day. Del Rio can encourage him team til hes blue in his face, its up to the team to go out there and play with "fire" and passion...trust me, they'll win next week because they should be angry and embarassed.

I thought when Garrard became the starting QB that the seats would be full... now its get Bill Cowher and that would fill the seats...

I wonder what will be next...

Rich is that you?

Wow does everyone hang on Mr. Bill Cowher's nuts? I like Coach too but all this staff changing is just going to delay a championship team for another 15 years. It took Bill Cowher a decade and a half to get 1 Super Bowl Title. I'm not waiting that long. I think Jack and our squad can bring a title here in the next year or so.

I'd take Cowher. Hell Id re-think my past thoughts on TC.

Coaching contributed quite a bit in Sundays loss.

Getting Cowher isn't to just fill seats...Its to win games. Better manager of a team wins games! Cowher proved that for how long in Pitts with the salary cap years, through ruff drafts, through injuries, Cowher always had his team ready.

I said it here.....in a thread I stared right below this one.

http://mb.jaguars.com/Topic657726-6-1.aspx

I know noone wants to hear this but do we?

I heard everything from "the new era" is BS.

3-4 different Offensive Cor. and still the same predictable offense. (is it JDR doing this)

Do we need a better D-line coach? A better LB's Coach?

Does JDR need to get the team back to fundamentals of tackling? Does JDR need to have a harder training camp instead of light training camp? Which leads to better tackling, conditioning, etc..... Its like the Jags are a bunch of over paid sissies out there. Getting hurt, not tackling, not catching, getting beat in the trenches.

The only thing thats looked good so far until yesterday was special teams. IS JDR loosing it or did he ever have it?

We have just about been outcoach every week this year. We have been the cardiac cats since JDR got here. WTH is up.

How many games have we won that we felt comfortable in, dominated in in the "new era"?

We have won/lost every game by 7 points or less. That tells me JDR is coaching DOWN to the competition. He's prolly back in to "an offense can't crush a defense" mode.

Our O-Line is like a sieve, and our secondary is suspect at best

I hate to say this but Matt Jones was the Best player on the field Sunday

Time for some new blood, Replace the Jack and sHack show!

True, but how many seasons did the Steelers go to the playoffs in those 15 years?? Quite a few. They were contenders for many many years.
