| They got annihilated by the Rams today. You can't put this all on Brad Johnson either. Their defense let Steven Jackson run all over them. Their secondary looked lost and the only Cowboy who lived up to his rep today was DeMarcus Ware who got 3 sacks on Bulger.
Whats funny is now all the networks will begin to discuss "the decline of the cowboys" and "how did the cowboys become so bad?" My question is, when were they good? They've benefited from soft schedules over the years but have choked in the playoffs since Aikman was at the helm.

Parcells practically gift-wrapped a division title for them when he left.
Think about it, when Parcells "retired" Dallas had;
A young, QB who had a bright future but with some issues to work through (fumbles, poor decisions, maturity) but every player has problems.
A certified, card-carrying, bad-a## passrusher in D. Ware that has racked up 33.5 sacks in 3 seasons.
Two RB's that were working well in a 2 'back set.
One of the best TE's around.
Two First Round Picks.
What Jones conveniently forgets time and again is that you need someone to hold all of those people together. What a waste of a franchise.
Go heavy early.
You do not maintain perfection, you work for it everyday.

| | I don't know how they became the annointed ones. They haven't won a playoff game since Buick was sellling the roadmaster and Bob Dole was running for President. Now they're in 3rd place in the NFC East and they can't stop anyone. The most annoying part about it is the coverage though. They lose another game and ESPN has them on the freakin cover page. Newsflash: They still have done NOTHING. Although I have to admit they are the drama queens of the NFL with TO crying in press conferences and Romo crying on the field on on the bench. So maybe ESPN is trying to tap into the soap opera crowd. |

| | the cowgirls have always been a soap opera team... thats jerrys style he loves all eyes on dallas. if they arent awesome, he'd love them to be a bunch of drama queens, thats why he brought in roy williams.... he knew they were on a decline... more drama more coverage, lets sell some psl's.... they have been I dunno if they are over-rated. The TALENT is there... they just don't mesh well... And I think it starts with the t.o. as great of WR he is, the best imo, he destroys teams. The D is weak, and they should have drafted to improve instead of risking something on a pac man. Too much risk, not enough reward.... All in all, fault lies in Jerry Jones FIRST. He isn't a very good GM, unless he is GM of the new Jerry Springer Jones show. He thinks too much with his money. And did you see Wade Phillips during that press conference? He is NO Parcells...... Bring on the next guy who has been patiently waiting.
