Fargin (10/19/2008)
So tell me theclottroll, where does that place the clots in the division now? Just asking.
Is this a true or false question... Give it a couple hours more.
TCT is working on a novel in response to Fargin's one-liner.

| My gosh...what a bunch of babies. The refs help hand them their only championship in recent memory ("face-guarding" and the like ), then they cry when things don't go their widdle way. Wah!!!!!!!!! And they wonder why they're the epicenter for all estrogen in the known universe.

I'm just wondering....Debbie does Twinkapolis? "Debbie" does Manning. Yeah, I know, I know - not a city name. Still, the image, lol. |

I don't know if Goodell and Polian had a lovers quarrel or what but Indy doesn't seem to be the leagues poster team this year.

| Is anyone really surprised?
The player/asset that that entire organization has been built around (the quarterback) is having a down season. What did you think was going to happen?
Since 1996, the year before B. Polian was hired, they have drafted 8 Offensive and 3 Defensive players in the 1st Round. 3 WR's, 1 TE, 2 RB's, a QB, and 2 Offensive Linemen. How can you put that many apples in one basket and not expect the other half of the team to suffer?
I am not saying that Indianapolis is done, because I subscribe to the idea that a quality QB trumps everything else, but that also means that as the QB goes, so does the team.
Go heavy early.
You do not maintain perfection, you work for it everyday.

| TheClotTroll (10/19/2008) I think the play that changed the game was when Dungy pulled Manning off the field on the 4th and 1 while we were down 10-7. That was big. Given how long our defense was on the field, I thought we were screwed from there. Coincidentally, against the Jaguars a month ago, we were at midfield with a 4th and 1 while being up 7-0. We punted both times. I'm not saying two plays wins both games at all. What I'm saying is that you have to take a chance and give the defense a break.Bingo, I thought the same thing. They've got to have a hot route guaranteed to get two yards, at least, I saw 'em run a pic play that did just that... You gotta have the nards to just go for it sometimes, or, most of the time like JDR, who by the way, has the most enormous nards in the League.
Based on the fact that his team is freakin badace...
