The guy had 1 bad game and guys act like he has the hands of Kyle Brady.

We seriously should get rid of the guy who has 1/3 of Garrard's TD passes?

We don't throw to the TE enough, so if he drops one pass its all you remember because he only gets 1-2 a game.

It's hard to throw to the TE when the WR's only run 8yrds down the field on every play. The TE can't work underneath the WR's if the WR's don't go down field.

Reggie Williams (Couldn't run a crisp route if his life depended on it)
Mike Peterson (slow and old....NEXT!)
Will James (should never play another down of Football ever again)
Marcedes Lewis (Not fit to be a TE, might make a good Tackle, couldn't catch a cold)
I would also bench Reggie Hayward for the remainder of the year just so Harvey gets more PT.

Here's my thoughts on these guys...

• I'd bench Reggie primarily because the starters right now should be Matt Jones and Mike Walker with Jerry Porter being eased in. I don't want to totally give up on Reggie, but he's become a glorified blocker who disappears in the passing game. I actually do like the idea of trying him out as our #2 TE. I believe he might be better than Estandia in that role, but otherwise he's become a backup flanker vying with Northcutt, Porter and Williamson for playing time.
• Mike P is getting a bad rap on this board, but he's not that bad. I admit he's off his normal game and isn't getting in on every tackle right at the line of scrimmage like he usally does. But he's still a good LB and is not playing as bad as some here are suggesting. That said, it does appear he's getting squeezed out especially since surprisingly, Ingram has been playing so well as of late.
• Will James never should have been signed. He's a disgrace.
• Marcedes Lewis is doing a fine job with the exception of his drops. That said, most of his drops have been on tough throws that would have been incredible catches. He's only had two glaring drops that should have been caught. That said, he's doing an outstanding job both in pass protection and as a run blocker, and he's not going anywhere. Angulo is strictly a run blocker. He can't pass block or get open in the passing game.
• Reggie Hayward has already been benched as far as starting, and no way would I take any more time away from him. He's currently our best pass rushing DE with Groves a close second, and he's staunch against the run. He also plays DT in the nickel.

Marcedes is pretty close to his full potential. He just needs to catch those passes.

And tell that to Marcedes, who is scared of contact.
