| | Marcedes did come up with the 24 yard TD catch to regain the lead last Sunday. Doesn't completely excuse his prior drops, but there is still hope for his ability as a catching TE. However, he is an excellent blocker. He should not be benched...yet.

| | Lewis just caught a TD pass last game. Are you totally unaware of the situation we're facing on offence? Okay, here it is: we're missing key members on the O-Line. In order to make up for this deficiency, the team is using a lot of max protection on passing downs. Now guess who gets used as a blocker on these passing downs? Yeah, that's right - Marcedes Lewis. The more time he has to spend at the line of scrimmage blocking, the less opportunities he has to establish himself as a pass catcher. This helps explain why his numbers aren't great up to this point. I'll admit he hasn't been great so far, but give the man some time to get into the flow of the passing game. My gawd, have you not learned anything after watching Matt Jones improve this year? Last year, you were probably the one calling for his head. Now all of a sudden he's the most productive WR on the team. People can be so fickle. |

| Theres no way Marcedes should be benched....not because he's NOT disappointing, but because we honestly have nobody better at this point.
I would draft another TE next year with the intent of supplanting Marcedes TE1 spot, unless he really elevates his game over the rest of the season..
Theres like 2/3 rds of the leagues starting TE's thats outproducing Marcedes....and he was a first rounder.

Pick a number between 1 and 100, Add 52, Now subtract 7, Add 4, Subtract 13, Subtract the number you started with, Divide by 2, Add 7, Multiply by 4 then subtract 9 ... Viola there's your clue.
