It was reported on nfl.com that TJ and Roy Williams are being looked at for a possible trade by the 49ers. Why aren't we active with those two kinds of receivers out on the market?
I don't care who you have at WR, these are two really nice proven WRs and you have to capitalize.$$$$ Besides, if we traded for these guys they don't do anything because we never challenge down the field. How many times a day are you going to say this? We all know this is the case and this team is not built for that kind of offense. You and Prisco can say it all you want, but I don't think it's gonna change as long as Del Rio is the coach. Not every team is gonna air it out and it is not necessary. How many long bombs have the Titans thrown this year? They seem to be doing okay. So do you think we should pay a guy 60 mil for a guy who's gonna be a handoff specialist? Note: Not a knock on DG, mainly JDR's offensive philosophy.
