| I'm not taking sides with TMD or the FBT crowd, but it is far too early to say Mike Walker is anything. He had 1 good game and show very good route running and hustle. If he keeps that up for the remainder of the year and into next year, then we can start talking about his status.
I mean, Matt Jones was the fastest receiver in Jags history to 1,000 yards and many on this board said he was a "bust." The jury is still out on MJ also. He needs to keep giving full effort and take the tough hits over the middle.
I for one think they can both be solid receivers. I believe MJ is actually more than a possession receiver like Vic believes and I think MW could, just could be a #1 type. If things work out, MJ and MW would be a perfect compliment at 1 and 2, and hopefully one of the others can work in the slot. |
