TMD on Mike Walker Sep.7: "because he stinks" "Why don't you get it? WTH has this player done, besides be an OTA wonder?" "In the exhibition games, he's shown eggo hands." the 1st round bust rate is a coin flip... past that its a crap shoot for finding good players vs. busts. some people don't get that. there are other teams with worse 1st round drafting records than us... and thier busts were BUSTS in every sense of the word at least our's produce.
This is misleading.
Overall, it probably comes out to perhaps close to 50/ 50 overall in 1st round busts/ first round hits.
However, what usually happens is the GM's that are successful with 1st rounders, usually are CONSISTENTLY successful with these 1st rounders, and the poor GM's (not mentioning any names) usually consistently miss on these same first rounders, which overall, cumulates to around a 50/ 50 average.
Go look at Bill Poian's track record for 1t rounders in Indy.
Go look at Andy Reid's 1st rounders in Philly.
Go look at Scott Pioli's 1st rounders in New England.
Go look at the Steelers 1st rounders this decade.
Go look at San Diego's 1st rounders since the LT year.
Then, look at Shacks first round track record
Look at Atlanta's first round track record prior to this year.
Detroit.
Miami
and so on.
Thats how you get your supposed "crap shoot' 50/ 50. average.
The good GM's usually don't miss in the first round, and the lesser GM's usually consistently screw up in the frist round.
You seriously didn't put Philly in Elite drafting
Freddie Mitchell-BUST
Jerome McDougle-BUST
Mike Mamula-BUST
Broderick Bunkley-Below Average(so far)
Jon Harris-BUST
At least the Shack Players have been not been flat out busts
You shouldn;t even be discussing this with us, after that. You clearly don't have the football knowledge to keep up.
Mamula & Jon Harris were 1st rounders from the Ray Rhodes regime, which supports my other claim that bad drafters usually consistent;y miss on their 1st rounders. As Rhodes did.
The Eagles didn't hit with every first rounder under Reid, but thet did with most of them.
McNabb
Simon (was very good for first 5 or so years for them)
Sheppard
Andrews
Bunkley
So what about Mitchell, McDougle, and Bunkley.....they suck
I shouldn't be able to talk football LOL at you. I Roast you on every topic.... EVERY TOPIC.
Why didn't you reply to the Walker thing?
Maybe it's because I proved you were lying.

There is always something for you to **** about isn't there? Just admit you were wrong about Walker in regards to being a buster. That would at least show that you have some man in you and not just the padded bra wearing, little whining malcontent you have been so far. |

| Bunkley does not suck. so thats 2 misses out of 9 years. (Mitchell/ McDougle)
Your mistake of including Mamula & Jon Harris was ridiculous for someone who comes off as brash as you do. Thats a novice type mistake.
Go back for remedial football 101

If you think Reggie and Marcedes suck then Bunkley sucks.
Everything you say is a "novice type mistake".

Let's put this in perspective....
MATT JONES has more catches/ yards & = TD's than Reggie + Marcedes COMBINED this season.
That ain't cutting it.
Reggie + Marcedes are both first round busterooonies.
Congratulations to the 2008 WORLD Champions, your Philadelphia Phillies!

You say that like MJ isn't beastin. He is our best WR right now. The stats didn't show it last game, but he had a good game. That's a TD pass without the PI. I'm not sold on Reggie. His lack of body control is frustrating. He can't snatch a ball out of the air. He always catches it with his body. This hampers his ability to get YAC. I think he needs to go after this season. I believe his contract is up. This will make room for DN, JP, MW, MJ and TW to back up. Lewis is fine. I have no beefs with ML.

FBT (10/7/2008)
drumrave (10/7/2008) TMD stated earlier in the year before Mike Walker played that we were hyping him up and he could turn out to be a bust when others said he was the next Jimmy. TMD said on another tread just recently that Mike Walker is playing really well and can shape up to be a good Wr and the kind of Receiver the Jags have been looking for
You don't have to hate on TMD because you think it's cool and you didn't need to make this threadHate on TMD to be cool? Seriously? I don't "hate" the whimp. I just enjoy watching him squirm when he makes declarations that blow up in his face. He's singing a different tune RIGHT NOW from what he DECLARED before the season started. He listed Mike Walker as one of the Shack Harris draft busts before we even got to opening day. It really doesn't matter what he's saying now because it's simply damage control, and now he's got others here trying to carry his water for him. Don't fall for it. I didn't realize you started this thread. I didn't say anything about you FBT but now that you mention it, it does get annoying when you two bee itch at each other but then again whatever floats your boat I'm sure the whimp appreciates the fact that you've got his back. Just a little advice. Try not to get too close. I don't take sides but I also don't like to see threads started just to bash people because of something they said. Yeah TMD declared him a bust before the season but Skywalker proved he's going to be something special and TMD retracts what he said. People make mistakes, TMD makes a lot but we don't need a thread everytime he's wrong it would just break the internet This is where you're making a mistake. You think the whimp has retracted something here and that's simply not the case. He hasn't retracted anything. He's done a little dance to buy himself a little time in the hope that Walker will have a bad game or two so that he can blast away on Shack Harris again. You need to understand that this is his self-proclaimed schtick and not be fooled by the head fakes he likes to throw out there to try to con people into believing he's actually a Jaguars fan. BTW, if the whimp is going to start a thread every time he perceives that he is right so that he can build a lap tent dedicated to himself, others can certainly start threads to show that the majority of the time he's a pathetic joke.
