ROFL....

Griffin, with yet ANOTHER pick yesterday now has 4 already for the season.

Nelson?....

Since Griffin EARNED the starting FS job(not given to him based on draft selection, like the way Jack does it, ie. Reg Williams, Harvey, Nelson) Griffin is easily outplaying Nelson over that span.

Prior to the 2007 draft I predicted that Michael Griffin would go on to be the best Safety selected from the 2007 NFL draft - better than Meriweather, Nelson & Landry.

Looks like I am being proven right.

Hey Krayz.....are you still hanging on to "nelson > griffin"??

ROFL.

Congratulations to the 2008 WORLD Champions, your Philadelphia Phillies!

nelson didnt play yesterday, and judging by some of the passes ben threw up he would have had at least 1 INT

and im sorry but landry is a monster

so far griffin has played better than nelson(from start to finish) but nelson is beginning to blossom and clearly has the skill set to be a great player...

HoF worthy? I dont know, thats too far down the road to consider. But pro-bowl caliber? Without question

In case anyone needs a clue.
Pick a number between 1 and 100, Add 52, Now subtract 7, Add 4, Subtract 13, Subtract the number you started with, Divide by 2, Add 7, Multiply by 4 then subtract 9 ... Viola there's your clue.
Sam

Priceless.

Lets go back to the prediction where you said the Jags would be in last place behind the Texans. Texans are 0-4 right now.

When you make so many dumb predictions you are bound to get some right for once.

The Titans had to be thrilled when James Harris traded out of the 17th pick to the 21st pick which allowed the Titans to select Michael Griffin, whom they would have taken even if Reggie Nelson was on the board.

They knew that Griffin was just as talented as Nelson, but also had the edge in the mental game, thus allowing his ceiling to be higher.

But as we know, Shack Harris does not put a premium on "intelligence/ smarts" when it comes to his acquisitions. Unlike other personnel guru's that always mention "smarts" as high on their list of priorities when drafting players, you'll never hear that out of Shacks mouth when asked what his priorities are in terms of draft picks.

What is the point of this topic? To act like a three year old maturity wise and trumpet your random prediction?

A broken clock is right twice a day.

As for this whole debate, you still can't make the comparison yet, as Nelson has played in two less games than Griffin, not to mention Griffin is benefiting from a much better supporting cast. And don't try and say that it doesn't matter. Nelson and other DB's can only cover so long before someone gets open, which is the problem Nelson faces with the Jaguars pass rush non existent.

Simply put, the Titans have a much better overall defense. Plug Nelson into there instead of Griffin, and he'd have the same, or perhaps better stats.

This isn't a knock on Griffin; but right now due to differing variables and situations, you can't pronounce either better than one another.

Andre Woolfolk was picked ahead of Mathis ROFL.

LenWhale White-Castle was picked ahead of Jones-Drew ROFL.

Chris Henry in the 2nd round ROFL.

Chris Davis picked ahead of Uche Nwaneri ROFL.

Vince Young 3rd pick ROFL.

Pacman Jones traded for 4tth rounder ROFL.

Ben Troupe picked ahead of Greg Jones ROFL.

Courtney Roby and Paul Williams in the 3rd round ROFL.

LOLOLOLOL at you, Nelson hasn't played for 2 games and a half and your saying what is Nelson doing? Your a joke....go away.

AND if your basing this JUST off INTs you seriously don't know what you're talking about. Bob Sanders has 4 CAREER ints. So I guess Michael Griffin is better than Sanders LOL.

You do NOT want to go down this road....I could ROAST Shack Harris with a similar style of hindsight.

Leftwich 7th overall ROFL.

Reg Williams 9th overall ROTFLMAO & selected ahead of Lee Evans. LOL

Matt Jones selected ahead of Roddy White ROFL

Marcedes & his 7 catches in 5 games in his now THIRD season, ROFL.

Trading half the draft for Derrick Harvey, who has as many QB sacks as a dead man, and has shown very very little even in terms of promise - ROFL.

Jeez, Reggie Nelson was probably a "decent" first round pick, but when compared to the other 5, it just makes him appear great by the comparison of the  other dregs.

How come you don't mention the Titans make ups for some of those moves, like

DE Kyle Vanden Bosch, who is at pro bowl level - acquired initially for peanuts as another teams cast off.

7th rounder Cortland Finnegan, whose as solid a starting CB as there is.

Bookend OT's Michael Roos & David Stewart, drafted in the 2nd & 4th rounds respectively. Those 2 are among the tops at their positions in the AFC.

FB Armhad Hall, undrafted....seen as one of the top FB's in the AFC

4th rounder Stephen Tulloch, starter

K Rob Bironas, cheap FA, as good as Scobee at least and didn't take a draft pick to net him.

DT Tony Brown....undrafted FA.

TE Bo Sciafe 6th round ....way outperforming our TE that was selected in the FIRST round.

solid FA pickups like K Mawaa, Jake Scott, Nick harper, which were got at reasonable money wheras Harris throws the bank at players like Brian Williams & Drayton Florence & never gets = value.

Congratulations to the 2008 WORLD Champions, your Philadelphia Phillies!

Yes I DO wanna go down this road.

The players you named are NOT EVEN CLOSE to being bad as the titans players.

Andre Woolfolk over Mathis is WAY WORSE than Evans over Williams.

LenWhale over MJD is WAY WORSE than Matt Jones and Roddy White. Matt Jones has more TDs anyway so I don't get it.

Vince Young is WAY WORSE than Leftwich.

"4th round Stephen Tulloch, starter" LOL ARE YOU SERIOUS LOL Tulloch SUCKS
Uche Nwaneri 5th round starter, Gerald Sensabaugh 5th round starter LOL

Witherspoon UFA

You say Nick Harper is a solid pick up and Brian Williams isn't HAHAHAHA WOW.

Derrick Harvey=More INTs than a dead man

Bo Scaife is like 4 years older than Lewis.

Mike Walker is better THAN ANY receiver on their team. Quote me on that.

Scobee is the biggest clutch kicker in the league

Khalif Barnes playing at a pro bowl level

Mike Pete was a pro-bowl caliber pick-up

I'm still waiting to hear if Griffin is better than Sanders

Leave you POS!!!!!!!

I hate you with a passion

You're not a Jags fan.  It's been proven by your "schtick" PM to FBT.

You come here to rub bad things in Jags fans faces after a loss with "I told you so's"  You want the Jaguars to lose.  You're a G.D. troll.  You must have the worst existence as a human being.  I almost feel sorry for you, but I really feel more sorry for the actual Jaguar fans that have to be subjected to your crap.

You suck.

You're worthless.

"Why don't you get it? WTH has this player done, besides be an OTA wonder?"
