I started thinking, with six minutes left, the Texans could have run the ball securely 6 times and taken 3 knees. They would have won. I would be pissed if I were a Texans season ticket holder.

They tried to run it. They got four yards on five runs, an incomplete pass, and two lost fumbles trying to get the first down to ice it. The two plays on which Rosenfels fumbled were both third downs. The one returned for the TD was third and 8 (would have been fourth and 2 at the Colts' 35 yard line had he not fumbled); the one that was recovered for no gain was third and 9 (would have been fourth and 11 at his own 21 had he not fumbled).

Can't blame the guy for trying to ice the game. There was a chance the Colts would have won if he didn't fumble it away... the Colts were moving the ball well in the fourth quarter, though they still would have needed 14 points in less than 3 minutes to do so (there was 1:54 left on the clock when the Colts took the lead; part of me was hoping that Wayne's TD didn't hold up, I thought there was too much time left).

Still drunk. I'm just hoping that defense shows up against the Dolphins.

Complete Texans Homer.  Refer to this signature if there is any question about whom I root for.
