I think it was Tim Brando who described most Gator fans to a 'T'.

The arrogance of Alabama without the history.

UF lacks the Nat'l Championships, but nobody can argue with Spurrier's run of SEC championships. That will never happen again in the SEC.

Whooptie freakin' doo.

Not many schools have the history of Bama. Their last National title came in 1992 and haven't done much since. In recent history then Florida fans have had some things to celebrate, more so than Alabama.

And I know plenty a Bama fan that would be considered "arrogant" by many. Again, the notion that UF fans are more "arrogant" is just crazy.

I was merely stating a fact.. I wasn't trying to boast.

The run was impressive.

Says a Florida fan.

I guess you're not annoyed by these fans who constantly think their team is a national powerhouse and a fixture to be a favorite for the national title year end and year out, when in reality they're great every so often.

I have said it already, it is part of the landscape of sports. I see the people you refer to in the stadiums, in the malls, at the parks, at work and just keep walking. But again, every team has them, it is not relegated to one fan base.
