Did you honestly think Florida was going to go 80 yards and win that game?

No. I forgot. They were down by 20 getting rolled.

I appreciate the honest response.

Florida fans should be thanking the fact that all of the planets aligned and Mike Hart fumbled twice on the goal line, taking 14 points off the board.

Wow. I guess Major Wright clubbing the ball had nothing to do with it. Thanks stars.

The second one wasn't on the goal line, IIRC, but it was inside the 25.

How many times did Mike Hart fumble in his career at Michigan?

Close to none.

He clubbed the ball out and made a play. Deal with it.

Wait, I forgot to add Iowa's bowl results....

We can look at Iowa's bowl game record against the last 3 SEC teams it's faced if you want.
Talk about digging....kind of like the Steeler fans screaming about their 5 rings. That's laughable.

Digging... ?

Aren't you the one who brought up bowl records and tried to take a shot at Iowa not being a bowl last year?
Yes, only the most recent ones on record?!?!
Oh heck, while I am at it.

Iowa lost it's last two bowl games. One being Florida (Jan. of 2006)........the other Texas (most recent, Dec 2006).

In 04 and 05 Iowa beat UF and LSU.

Just because it is so fun to read......

Lil 10 had 7 teams in bowl games and went 3-4

The SEC had 9 teams and went 7-2. Won the National title, and another BCS game. Yes Michigan won by 6 over Florida. As a Florida fan the game blew.

The Lil 10 lost to Boston College, Oklahoma State, LSU, and Tennessee. The SEC lost to Michigan and Missouri, I know not quite the power houses of Boston College and Oklahoma State, but still.

Head to head with the Lil 10, the SEC went 2-1. And were once again home of the National Champs....

It might be digging, if the last 3 SEC teams were like you know... not in the last 5 years.
I have always found that losers fall back on the distant past. whether it be 2, or 5 years. That's old hat. I went most recent.

It's hard to tell if you're more of a Florida fan or an SEC fan.  Very strange.

I'm a Nole fan and root against VaTech and UM.  I'm pretty sure this is the norm except in the SEC.

So when other ACC teams play bowls, or out of conference match-ups you don't root for that ACC school?

The wins in season only help strength of schedule. The better the teams in the conference the more it will help each team get, and stay better.

Not much to root for anyway in the ACC. Point taken.

I will continue rooting for the SEC schools to be, and stay good. That is why the SEC is currently the best conference in the land.

Again, Iron Sharpens Iron.

Your last sentence could not be farther from the truth.

Just watch ESPN during bowl season and look at the voting going on for conferences, and the different trophies for conference bowl supremacy.
