i just heard on Sirius the tacks cut Simms and VY will be back for them tomorrow. I thought he was done for awhile.
Apparently the knee has healed up and is no longer an issue.
That said, Fisher has also clearly stated that Vince needs to sit and watch how a veteran QB handles himself....how he prepares, how he responds to criticism, etc.
On the field, Vince's biggest problem has been his inability to bounce back from mistakes. There were five games last year where he had a 90+ passer rating. The problem is, when he makes a mistake early in the game, he can't bounce back, and he ends up playing poorly all day.
If he can develop a thick skin and a short memory, he'll be a much better player overall.
As far as Simms being released, I think it's just a temporary move to bring in another punter for this week. Word is they're expecting to re-sign Simms next week. |

MJD had 16 Tds his first year.
Does LenWhale even have 16 TDs for his career?
