Hello everyone,

I know all of us are still reeling from the news we found out yesterday, and it's still fresh on our hearts. Last night I posted on here saying I just felt driven to help in some way no matter how small, and I'm sure most of you feel the same way. I've bee thinking all night about what we can do and I think I've come up with something.

I'm hoping to sell them before the Steelers game, and have as many people as possible around the stadium wearing them to support Big Rich. All of the money collected from the sale of these buttons will be donated to Big Rich's nephews (the boys he's been raising here in Florida) I know it won't be anything in comparison to what he gets from the Jaguars organization, or the NFL, or even his insurance companies but it is something we could all be a part of. I'm willing to eat the cost of making the buttons, if you all are willing to purchase them.

I'm leaving my house in a few minutes to go by some local companies and get some prices, and see if they want to donate too and then I'm heading to the stadium to talk to them to see get information about selling/donating.

Anyway, if this is something you'd be interested in let me know--if not I'll just make enough for me and my friends.

Thanks guys!!!

Go JAGS!!! Go BIG RICH!!!

EDIT:
Ok guys!!! Back from my button journey!! Looks like we have good news I've spoken with a lady at a local company and she's going to print off 200 of them for me. I'm going to be pressing them myself (she said she'd work out a deal on price for me if i'd do the manual labor portion--she's a Jags fan too!) today and tomorrow.

They are going to be teal buttons with black lettering that says #76 Big Rich outlined in gold. The price will $3 bucks a button and like I said earlier the entire $3 bucks will be going to Richards newphews.

I'm waiting on 2 more call backs from the Jags to see if maybe just maybe they can find someway to help out. If not, 200 was allwe could afford to order for now.

I also posted a link on ebay for people to buy 1 or more and also to help donate to pay the intial cost. I know some people said they wanted to help.

Also, if you want to donate a few dollars to help with the cost, just log into paypal and select the send money tab. The email address is Jaxcats05@yahoo.com . Every penny will be donated to Collier's family.

I will keep everyone updated on the proceeds and when we will deliver them.

I'm so glad you guys are on board for this!! Thank you so much! I can't wait to start pressing!!!

Update on schedule ofr Sunday:

Kristin and I will be parked on the corner of Randolph and Oakley from 1-4pm on Sunday. From 4-6 we will be just walking around the Tailgaters parking because a lot of people there said they want a few. Then at 6pm we will be right in front of the big Jaguar ("Touchdown the Jaguars" statue on the west side of the stadium since we told a few people they could meet us there to get one. And if some are still left, we will have them at our seat which is section 122, row J, seat 23.

So on Sunday from:
1-4 we will be on the corner of A. Phillip Randolph and Oakley
4-6 we will be in the Tailgaters parking lot
6-6:30 in front of the big bronze Jaguars statue in front of the stadium
8-11:30 we will be on our seats. Section 122, row J, seats 22 and 23.

You might try First Coast Promotions and speak with Norm. I've used them and was happy with price/quality/value.

If there is anyway that you could make them available to the Out of Town fans, I would be very interested in buying one. I can't promise you very much in the way of sales, but I'm sure that if some of my fellow Jaguar Fans in Richmond VA (you know who you are) would want some, we could get several shipped up here.

Any body else in Richmond that wants to go in on some buttons?

I imagine that most fans would buy a button as long as they were reasonably priced and they were able to get the message regarding what is being done with the proceeds.

Yeah, Kristin is at the stadium right now asking if the Jags want to help.

They won't be more than $3 or so and she hopes to keep everyone updated on the proceeds on her blog site. If the Jaguars want to get involved, hopefully it can be official, but if not I can asure you 100% of the proceeds will go to Collier. I don't think anyone really needs to ask that.

Just trying to see how many we need to make...
