To be the best fan base in the NFL they sure do get alot of no shows.

If you saw the stadium it looked to be half empty in the 3rd qtr. And they say we have the worst fan base.

If you got what it takes to beat TheBluprint, walk into the lions den.

Most Steeler fans don't live in Pittsburgh. They moved out of the dying city long ago. There are empty seats every game.

That's true, but The Burgh has alot of surrounding areas, like mars, and eastern ohio that are part of steeler country. No excuses.

Actually, they have a similar problem that we do in Jax.  A lot of the fans stand along the rails (as Jags fans do) giving the appearance of a lower attendance.

The main problem I say was the shape of that field. Players were digging out their clets and facemasks after every play.

What's wrong with the grounds crew up there?

Heinz Field is like all modern NFL stadiums in that there are plenty of areas to be at the stadium other than in your seat... Their club areas look like our club areas because people are using the club at half time and can keep tabs on the game on all the TV's in the clubs... Same with areas in the non-club areas.... Teams are making it easier for people to leave their seats to go buy stuff and keep tabs...... In the old days, you hated to leave your seats because you might miss something...
Now, you can see it at least on TV without a problem in a nice area.... Also, just like our stadium, people like the sports bars and standing areas....

A better indication is what the place looks like in the middle of the 1st Qtr.... All the late arrivals are in their seats and haven't left yet to use other areas.. This past Sunday, that's when JMS looked its fullest...

I will never believe anyone who says the Steelers have the best fan base. The day they honored some Hall of Famers from the 1970s to celebrate their 75th birthday I saw tons of empty seats during the ceremony. How can lifelong Steelers fans want to miss that event? I was too young to watch their four Super Bowls but I loved it.

On the other hand, the night we beat the Super Bowl champs 9-0 at home, I saw a lot of Terrible Towels and signs supporting the Steelers. I can't remember any signs supporting the Jaguars except one based on ESPN, but I do remember a sign from a Steelers fan about Big Ben returning from an appendectomy on a Monday night. We need to do something about that. Maybe the ushers should be required to check all Steelers fans for Terrible Towels and tell them where the trash can is.

He probably feels terrible about not being able to do anything or regrets not helping when he could have. It is natural instinct to get away form gunfire, but knowing he did not stay the whole time Collier needed him there must make him feel sick inside. I wonder if he wanted to get away from Jacksonville out of fear or anger about the night out with Collier.

How could you meet a player in training camp? Was it the break between practices and meetings? Chatting with any player sounds cool to me because I can't do that.

I think the place looked empty because everyone was already in Jacksonville.
