I'll tell you what has bothered me and that's the smallish amount of the reward money put up for information on the shooter(s). I would expect the players to chip in a bit more than $25,000 for the reward, which is roughly 2 hundredths of a percent of the Jag's payroll. A 2 million dollar a year player makes approximately $117,000 per week before taxes.

I don't want to criticize how someone else spends their money it's just odd to me the reward money is not more given the industry Big Rich is in.

Regards.............the Chiefjag

You are under the assumption that Big Rich was a stand up guy off the field. Just think of the liability and scorn that Mr. Weaver would receive if say, he put up $1,000,00.00 and Collier was involved in some form of illegal activity that got him shot.

DO NOT go there. We have NO reason to think he was involved in anything illegal. He is a victim here and there is no excuse for what was done to him so don't go portraying him as a possible bad guy. This is not the time or the place for it and I refuse to allow that thought to enter my head until something is proven otherwise. The media is good enough at assuming guilty until proven innocent, the fans don't need to chime in!

And as far as the money, we have NO idea what the Jaguars are doing for Richard. For all we know theymay becontributing to a fund which may sethim up for life. He is going to have permanent and exorbitant medical bills for the rest of his life and perhaps people feel donating money to Richard and setting up a fund for him to care for himself takes priority over adding to a reward for his attackers capture. People who know something about the attack and have any sort of soul or conscience should be speaking up w/o expecting a reward. We have no right to judge anyone and we don't know what's going on.

I am not accusing or portraying anything about anyone. Just like I don't know if he was a bad guy, you don't know if he is a good guy either. Just trying to point the fact that there is some kind of liability that comes along with vouching for a person you don't really know.

He has already shown some poor judgment in his short stay in Jacksonville, so it is not all that far fetched that he may have been doing or involved in activities that he should not have been involved with in the first place.

Matt Jones has the work ethic of a lifelong welfare recipient who is more interested in getting that check than he is in having to work for it.

it doesn't matter what someone has done in their life NOONE deserves to be shot 1 time let alone 14 times. Its such a senseless act. He might of been doing something he shouldn't have been doing but again, noone deserves that.
