| | Yeah its unfortunate, this will be a wake-up call for every other player in the NFL, not that Sean Taylor's death and Darrent Williams' death weren't enough as it already stands... But it truly is a shame to see this great man, who had nothing but potential to grow into a fine offensive lineman be reduced to what he is today, I know he gets to walk away with his life and family, but right now, this man's dream and hopes have quickly changed it's sails and it's going to really haunt this poor young man for the rest of his life.... I wish nothing but the best for Richard and his family, I hope he doesnt stop fighting and he finds happiness somewhere at some time.... Sorry Richard, your just another poor victim of a man who had talent wasted by a man who didnt have anything but a gun in his hand one night......

| I hope they find the SOBs that did this to him and strip them of their right to pursue happiness as well. What a senseless crime and total disregard for quality of human life. I can only pray for a better world for my very young daughters to grow up in.

| Tigeras (9/29/2008) paralyzed from the waist down...
yes, it's a terrible shame / crime..... but looking positively - he's still alive and functional from the waist up, right?
he could have been killed or even remaining in a vegetative state for the remainder of his life...
As someone who was shot in the back, having his spinal cord severed.everything depends on the level of his injury and if he has a complete or an incomplete injury. Its a big adjustment when you can't feel your private area and when you can't feel when you have to use the bathroom. Keep lifting this young warrior up in your hearts. He's gonna need as much support and love to help him adjust. |
