Thoughts & prayers go out to Collier & his family, and wrong or not, I really wish the identical karma on the perpretrator(s) of this crime. I think what happened was cowardly & disgusting.
But, y'know, it's cool to be a gang banger, right?

| Jankovich, talking about Collier's future, points out that he does have a degree in Communications, and "He's talking about owning some businesses, doing some coaching, he wants to do things in the community."
Wow, 10 days ago he was on life support and now he's talking about moving on. That's a seriously big heart!

| | This is so terribly sad. My prayers are with Richard Collier and his family. I hope too that law enforcement take measures to ensure his safety after he leaves the hospital. I mean I hate to even think about it, but if there is someone out there trying to take him out, that person or group still might try something to finish the job. This is a sick world we live in. If I were the players, I'd raise the reward up to $1 million or so to catch this guy. |

| | My thoughts and prayers remain with Richard Collier and those closest to him. Though there have been many tragedies involving Pro Athletes, this one ranks amongst the most senseless. An eye for an eye is very appropriate. Whatever it takes, those responsible for this horrific crime need to be brought to justice.

I'm still shook up over this.
As am I.
I'm almost speechless right now.
I guess I never realized how badly he was hurt, due to the lack of info because of the gag-order that was asked for & permitted.
I really feel bad for Collier.
There are some spineless, cowardly, conscienceless pieces of trash out there right now, and I really hope they get theirs.
Thats bad I know. But I can't help it right now. I am angry. Very angry. No one deserves what happened to Rich. These punks are so big & bad hiding behind a gun - probably the same type of scum that can't fight one against one, gotta have their buddies jump in.....bunch of bleeping cowards, if you ask me.

| When I saw the headline on MSN, my heart stopped. Even when he was in critical I just felt he would have a full recovery. It's so sad to find out his life was altered so drastically and senselessly. To those that try to paint Richard negative without any proof pointing that way, shame on you. It's perfectly normal for young single males to pursue females. One should not have to worry about that being a life threatening act.
