Rashean the I-N-T Machine Mathis- best CB in the game
TMD's "predictions" so far for 08 season:
-Minnesota and Philly in the NFC championship game with Minnesota in the Superbowl
-Denver Broncos in the AFC championship game
-Houston a top 5 rushing team in the 09 season
-Houston seeded higher in the playoffs than the jags
- jags finishing 9-7 at best
- Browns finish better than the Jags
-Jags finish last in the AFC South after a bad showing in the preseason
TMD and I have a bet for $100 on the Jags wins
-Denver winning the AFC West LOL
-Bengals over Jags 24-21

OMG--his left leg was amputated and he's paralyzed from the waist down!!!!!!!!!!! This is so horrible and I'm so ANGRY that NO ONE has been arrested for this. 14 bullet holes.. shoulder groin, fractured spine, buttocks.. I can't even imagine this ! With that information, it sounds like he must have been sitting in the passenger seat, then the door was opened and Rich turned away towards the driver's side instinctively. The shooter must have just fired several shots at point blank range into his back and lower body. Terrible news and a lot worse than I imagined. Hopefully the somebody will come forward with some information to help the police catch the shooter. Our prayers are with you Big Rich.

This is just so incredibly sad. What a waste.

| anditwasme (9/29/2008) Oh my God I am so pissed. bleepBite your tongue my man. Understand your reaction but go easy there mate. Terrible news for Rich. At least we'd been preinformed by inside sources. Some of the beauties of the board. Thank God he made it out of this. He may even hate living right now but he'll get better emotionally with time. Keep your head up Big Rich.
Success is a journey, not a destination. Go all out Mighty Jaguars!

| | This goes way, way beyond football and him being an athlete. I can only feel very sorry for him and his family. I hope Big Rich can pull through emotionally in time. He gave his heart and soul to this team, and I know this team and it's fanbase is giving him his well deserved full support.. Go Big Rich and god bless!!!!

| That's horrible news. I hope he is able to cope with this and start a new life for himself.
They need to catch the sacks of crap who did this. Bad things need to happen to them.

| Unimaginable. Just horrible. There is too much senseless shooting going on and only pain and grief follow. Thoughts and prayers go out to Rich, his family, and his Jaguars family too.
"That was really the difference," Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio said. "If we don't give up that play, it's probably a little bit different feeling right now." "The Broncos were chewed up and spit out by the Jaguars for the fifth game in the nine the teams have played - including the most famous upset." Woody Paige
