What is Tommy John surgery?A surgery invented by Dr. Frank Jobe who was then the head trainer of the Los Angeles Dodgers. It was made famous by pitcher Tommy John since it truly extended his career for many years after the initial operation. It has unfortunately been a catch phrase adopted by the more, buck toothed and un-educated forum members. Nonetheless it was a nice little phrase by the original poster. |
