| Tebow overthrew AT LEAST 3 people today....
2 of them were Wide open....
Last season he was hitting guys in stride with ease down field, Now, This season, he is playing like ***.
On a side note, Percy Harvin and Brandon Spikes looked pretty good.

| JagNoleFan (9/27/2008) Credit goes to Ole Miss for going into the swamp, but if you are UF, and you have national title hopes, you take care of business right?
That Gator defense is shaky, and the offense put up enough points to win, they just didnt have the stops. 3 turnovers doesnt help either.
The defense played fine.
We held them to 7 points at the half, Then they came out and got 10 straight points off of turnovers.
Who knows, If we score on those 2 drives instead of fumbling constantly, It could have been a blowout.
Either way, we deserved to lose...... For some reason i KNEW that extra point wasn't going to make it.

For some reason i KNEW that extra point wasn't going to make it. They ran out of that gimmick shotgun formation on us all day up the middle. I don't understand why Strong didn't tell them to sell out on the run whenever they saw it? Snead only completed 9 passes all day for God sakes! What were they waiting on? On the 40 yd TD run, we missed at least 4 tackles. It wasn't a good day for the D, but it was only overshadowed by how inept Tebow looked running the offense today. Between the callous disregard for the ball, and the over throws, (4 that I counted, including 2 on the final drive that were TDs if they were accurate), he had his worse day as a Gator today, hands down. Mullens actually had the light bulb go on in the 4th qrtr. when he saw what everyone else in the stadium knew for the first 3 qrtrs., that the middle of the defense when they blitzed was as open as a prairie field. Problem was everytime they tried to attack it, Timmy threw it like he was in a Punt,Pass, & Kick contest. Regardless of all that, we STILL had a chance to win and Urban showed why he's the Bill Bellichek <sp> of D1 college ball. He tried to get the "F--- YOU!" pts., instead of just getting out of your own stadium with a conference win and still one of the 3-4 teams with a legit shot at the BCS title game, and it backfired. Sometimes, you just get what's coming to you after a while. It happened to Spurrier a lot towards the end of his time as the HBC, and now it's happened to Urban.
My friend just called and told me the rumor on campus now is that Moody is done for the year. Outstanding. I have worries about every game on the schedule right now except maybe the Citadel. SIGH*
My little girl has her teal & black on, how bout your kid?

| | I think Timmy lost millions with today's game.... Some of those overthrows to wide open receivers were bad... He's a great kid but I wonder if he'll end up in NFL after all???? I guess he will but maybe he'll be like Eric Liddell and go off on missions instead.... I think he'll play football but he just doesn't throw well enough..... but who knows???? |

I was sitting in the front row today!
tebow has no time at all, and the WR drop everything I was row 84.
But yeah turnovers killed us and Tebow's deep passes were terrible. Missed Percy twice and Murphy once.

Yeah....I was kinda stunned when he decided to go for it on 4th down, even though it was a long FG. You still have to give your team a chance to win the game and we never got it.

SIGH* I understand your frustration, but to call the formation that Ole Miss was running a Gimmick offense is kind of funny, knowing that is what the Gators offense is. haha. They were just running it with a RB instead of a QB like UF does. Besides all that, its a bad loss, BUT you still have a chance to get back up there. It's better to lose earlier in the year, instead of late. Chin up Gator fans, knock off LSU and then Alambama in the SEC title game and your gravy.

Only Gator fans who have no concept of the NFL think he can be an NFL QB. A lot of them realize he isn't a good enough passer (even in the SPREAD) to even pass as a third stringer in the NFL. |
