It's a combo of Meyer's ego & Mullen's ability to call an offensive gameplan about as good as Bill Musgrave's.
To me, it's 100% Meyer's ego.
Not to mention the SEC teams have a full season now on his offense, and Ole Miss' OC basically kind of invented it. It's just a modified version of the "Wild *insert mascot here*" formation.

I think it lies mostly on Meyer. Everyone knows what's coming. Until they stop running Tebow every dang play and actually spread it out this will continue. Besides Tebow can't pass worth crap.
