Shack Del Rio (9/25/2008) I think it's becoming obvious that Maclin is the superior player. Every time I watch him and Missouri play, he stands out more and more. He is the better college player. It's also becoming obvious that Harvin will be nothing more than a gimmick player in the NFL while Maclin should be a bonafide star.
Percy Harvin...EASILY..because he does EVERTYHING. people cry GIMMICK all the time...but 200 total yards is 200 total yards HOWEVER you look at it. and if it was so easy......why doesnt EVERYONE do it? Percy can play WR...a lil RB...and return for you. also is better at breaking tackles.
How does it translate to the next level? Ted Ginn anyone?
Ginn is a stick figure with little to no lateral mobility. Harvin, on the other hand, has a solid build and devastating quickness. There's a difference between the two. |

You know there is a difference between straight line speed, which Ginn has, and lateral quickness which Ginn has very little of, right? |

Dare I ask what you're basing this off of?
I mean, you've already proven once in this very thread you completely make things up.
Maybe Ted Ginn was just tired, you know?

Well they forced Ohio State down our throats on tv every weekend. So maybe it was three years of watching him on TV or maybe it was the many draft scouting reports that noted that he was "more fast than quick" or maybe it was the fact that he never did any of the agility tests before the draft (he only ran the 40) that lead me to KNOW this FACT.
And before you ask, no I will not go and look up all of the scouting reports for you.

Of course you won't. That'd require you to actually back up something you're saying.
Maybe he was just winded from running fast when you watched him.

I notice you didn't refute anything I said. Interesting. |

| What's the point.
You already said your observation is fact, remember?
