Bob Sanders is awesome but we have won plenty of games without him over the years. Yeah he is awesome and so is Freeney but we have plenty of good players on D who need to get the job done and step it up.

exactly right. as good as Bob is the Colts are 20-6 with him OUT of the line-up (even after this past Sunday). Colts need to tackle better, pure & simple.

You guys have to be happy with what the offense gave you yesterday.  Granted Peyton made two huge mistakes, but other than that, you guys moved the ball almost at will.  The Colts were 6 for 10 on third and 4th down conversions.  We won because we kept the Colts' offense off the field and got points from the defense, which we may be counting on as our recipe for success this year.

I think the Colts will be fine.  They'll get things right on defense.  Question.  Do you think letting go of Ed Johnson has anything to do with the defensive issues?

 TMD on Mike Walker Sep.7:
"because he stinks"
"Why don't you get it? WTH has this player done, besides be an OTA wonder?"
"In the exhibition games, he's shown eggo hands."
"It's like you people are truly shocked/ mystified/ surprised that Harris produced another bust."

At the same time, we had injuries ourselves, including Meester, Naeole, and Durant.

You may want to add Collier, Mo Williams, Vince Manuwai, Reggie Nelson (2nd half), and our #1 Free Agent Jerry Porter.

Other than that, we're pretty healthy

You cannot ignore some injuries.  Its not an excuse, but it can be a factor in why a team wins or loses.  And the Colts have been very banged up lately, more so than most teams.  Jags have had injuries too.

Colts had their chances though and lost.  It had more to do with mistakes than injuries.  Dumb penalties, missed tackles, Manning misthrows, etc.

When a team can run ever play effectively  and only needs to pass the ball on three step drops and 5-10 yard slants/out patterns, Freeney isn't going to have an impact.

We had the horses to win yesterday (at this time, it's more like two days ago).

Manning got pass happy and made two bad decisions.

We didn't run when we had success.

We should've executed better and won.

We didn't.

It's that simple.

Get over it.

We'll have our chance again in December.  Until that time, I'm not worried about it.  We have a great team that is bubbling with potential.  A lot of football is left to be played by both teams.  Both could just as easily be battling for a postseason BYE week or missing the playoffs completely in December.

You just don't know.

Congratulations to the Jaguars.  No excuses, no refs, no injuries, no BS.

It was a good game.  Probably one of the best I've ever witnessed especially in the last 2 minutes.  I must say that you guys have an awesome stadium.  That place is frickin' huge.  We'll see you guys again in December.

If your a fan then stand up and cheer, otherwise go home to your cozy couch.   This is our house baby!

The Colts had probably more injuries last year & effectively went 14-2 (they threw the last gave w/ the Titans). I don't buy the injury OR officiating excuse, ever. What the Colts need to do to beat the Jags is ONE thing: wrap up on tackles. The whole game changes yesterday if the Colts "D" doesn't play like wussies.

They obvously have been taking notes from their fans.

Voted the #1 A-Hole on Jaguars.com

Never argue with idіots. They drag you down to their level, & beat you with experience.

Jagwired'd is to moderators as a wrongfully accused killer is to the court of law.

I show off my anger after Jags losses. I can't help myself.
