| Durty_Duval (9/26/2008) week 1 - c week 2 - c week 3 - c+ maybe a b
dirk said it best, david has the people open he just doesnt have the time to get it there or the defense doesnt allow him to get the ball into certain peoples hands
Or he's not making the right reads (as in, not looking towards the open man because he's locked on to the back of his primary but covered wide receiver's helmet).

Jagwyer (9/22/2008) My honest opinion after watching the game twice.
Whenthe Jagsdid try to pass the ball he had his head on a swivel looking through his progressions. Threw the ball away when he had to. WR's need to get open. The INT was bad but Reggie did not run back to the ball he just stood there. Thats WR 101. Still bad decision by Garrard. OLine gave him time most of the day but I don't think WR's are getting open. Or TE's for that matter. Wr's being 1 on 1 should win that battle. Hopefully Porter will get on the field, sometime, and help him out. Matt is our best WR and thats not good. He is playing well but nothing to be ecstatic about. He is this years Wilford.
The INT was 100% Garrard's fault. It had nothing to do with Reggie not coming back to the ball.
We don't know if the WR's are getting open. You can't tell on TV. In the Buffalo game, they got open. I watched them.
Watch the crappy arse route Reggie trys to sell, he studder stepped and gave up the route. Go look at the replay
Errr, I heard a coach today mention that INT specifically say it was a slow read and a late throw... but that Koetter guy is a Garrard hater I think
Go watch the route, but you being a Matt Jones guy you might not see it....
I've watched the game 4 times.
It was a bad throw, a bad read, and he forced the ball. What he should have done on that play is thrown over the top to Marcedes Lewis who was open about 10-15 yards behind Williams.
Go watch it.
Dirk Koetter Now the pick at Indy (Indianapolis) last week, Dave will be the first guy to say he was slow on his read and the guy jumped on Reggie (Williams). That was a bad play by Dave, but he’ll be the first one to admit that. He doesn’t make many of those. For the most part Dave is dong what he’s supposed to do. In practice we have numbers on everything, and Dave’s throwing the ball lights out in practice.
Dirk Koetter's opinion > yours.

| I think Koetter was very open and very honest yesterday with what he said. I liked the honesty. He basically said the receivers are not the problem.

I thought it was funny that he basically called some of the local media guys out for being dead wrong, I.E. Vito.
