Alfie (9/21/2008) Oh, did you watch the Iowa game by chance... or are you just flapping your gums?LOL....I watched the Pitt / Iowa game. Two very weak programs. Iowa stinks. Heck, your other team (FSU) didn't look so good either. Alfie, you are the one that is always flapping your gums about how good the Big 11 are.....Your the one that will never admit that the SEC is the best confernece in college football right now. Pitt got a win against a very weak program.....For my Dad's sake, I was happy that his alma mater won. Alfie.....Can you now admit that the SEC is the best college football conference this year? I believe I remember him saying that it is the overall the best conference. He just feel the teams are overrated. The SEC is filled with very good defenses. It's the offenses on some of them that is making the conference seem not as strong. LSU lost Perrilloux- that hurt. Auburn is switching to a spread - that's hurting their offense. Square peg.. circle hole. They need the players to run that. I remember on 1010xl somebody was interviewing a person at SEC media day and they were talking about how this may be the best the conference has ever been. I disagree. I think people thought a little too highly of the SEC this year. Is it the toughest conference? Yeah, no doubt. Is it head and shoulders above every other conference? Not quite. Well, it is that far above some conferences. If he said it I am sure he will be glad to say it again for ALL to see.

The SEC is the best conference...
This is where the inferiority complex comes in I keep talking about. The constant need to be stroked.

I guess that's why I said in another thread the Big 11 is bad, and has been bad for a couple years.
SteelGator talking out of his ***, par for the course I guess.
Not what you were crowing about last year. Remember Shag, Jones & Co, me and someother UF fans had to show your stats about how the SEC dominates the Big Ten.
One thread saying Big 11 is bad does not make up for your years of running your mouth about how good the Big 11 is. Maybe, you are actually learning something....Good for you!!
No, I don't remember that.
I do remember Florida losing to a Big 11 team. Maybe you should stop talking.

I do remember Florida losing to a Big 11 team. Maybe you should stop talking. I do too. Michigan came to play for their coach's farewell game. I also remember Florida beating the dog crap out of FSU, your second favorite team. I also remember UF winning it's 2nd football National Championship in 06 when your great Iowa squad has not sniffed a National Title since 1958.....
