| | You do know that security or any of those morins wearing red shirts CAN'T make you sit down don't you? Someone can report you and they will come down and suggest that you sit down, but you can just say no and then they leave. |

| | I had twink fans behind me and they had the audacity to actually try and tell me to sit down. I and two guys in front of me are the only people in my section that was actually loud and always standing up. My section sucks, I am moving to the 100's next season.

I was just explaining that it is your right to sit or stand at the game. Some people actually thing they will get kicked out when the cop comes down so they sit down. All I am saying is they don't have to. You are probably that guy who sits behing me and tells the cops on everyone who stands. I stand the WHOLE game. Too bad you are behing me. loser. |

| I run a security contracting service, and one of my clients is the Washington Redskins. Their policy is that fans can stand. But if one of my guys tells a fan to do something, such is stop yelling at other fans or using profane language, and the fan tells the security personnel "no," that fan is about to have a very bad afternoon. The fan will be ejected, have the remaining tickets in his season ticket package revoked without a refund (every seat for the Redskins is a season ticket) and be turned over to the county police for disorderly conduct. And we use force to eject the fan if he doesn't go on his own as soon as a security supervisors tells him to. There are too many people at the game to take much crap and still operate safely. I oversaw my crew this past Sunday as the Skins' played the Saints. They have instituted a new zero-tolerance policy on vulgar language, which resulted in six ejections just from the section my company handled (half of the upper level).
The bottom-line, my advice is to say OK, stop doing what you're told to not do and ask to please speak with a supervisor. That supervisor should be more than willing to nicely explain the stadium's rules, which do change not only from season to season but sometimes game to game.
I do not know what the rules are at your stadium, but I understand there are a few NFL stadiums that just started a rule saying you cannot stand the entire game if you are blocking others' view. I am pretty sure KC is one of those stadiums.

| jagjer (9/16/2008) What....you can't stand during games anymore? You can, but if someone behind you doesn't like it they can go tell a "red shirt." The service person along with a cop then will come down and ask you if you could please sit down because some people behind you can't see. It is at this time that you can either listen and sit down, or refuse and tell them to stand and cheer with you. The red shirt and the cop can only ask. They can't make you sit. Pretty silly. |

| | Not too long ago, someone behind me complained about my standing; I simply told the guy that if he could get the person standing in front of me to sit, I would too. Know what?, he asked the girl in front of me to sit and she said she would if he could get the lady in front of her to sit down. The guy rolled his eyes, said something about the sunny beaches in Jacksonville, left, and never returned to his seat.
