Tin Cup (9/9/2008)
I was at the game and have spoken to others who were there also and noone noticed anything like that. The media knows that they could have a honker here and are trying to build it up because they can't get any information on it. The media is being stonewalled on this situation.... Albert Haynesworth was on the radio and he took a little shot at Vince saying that he is just going to have to get thicker skin and be more mentally tough etc.......... Chris Hope mentioned something about how Kerry Collins quit on his team at one time but came back to have a nice career. He kind of insinuated that Vince quit yesterday but that is just speculation...... I expect them to sign Simms since this is Collins' last year on his deal and let Simms and Vince duke it out for the starting spot next year. It's mostly just grabbing a good player for when Collins leaves and to push Vince.

Some will back Vince to a fault I guess.

All joking aside, Jesus it's only a game.

I thought he looked like he was in a state after that second interception.

That's sad really.

Actually its more than a game....professional sports is BIG BUSINESS and for the professional athlete its their career and livliehood.  No different than the poor schumuck who assembles toasters at GE for years and suddenly has a nervous breakdown over the boss givin' em **** about his output.  Both result in pressure within the context of each situation and can be equally stressful or traumatic.

Hope things work out for the kid....hate to see talent wasted and misfortune visit anyone.

I've got no sympathy here. This guy has the mental dexterity of a care bear. When you have everything on a professional level just handed to you in life, much without warrant, and you go and cry about it, I've got no sympathy for you.

Was he crying about it when he won Maurice's ROY award? Didn't think so.

Buck up or get out of the game. That's my attitude with Vince. No sympathy for him. Anyone else, sure. Not him.

.. on vince young
David: he will find a way to throw this game away
David: even tho they already lost
Naddy: i need chargers to get a pick 6 to help out my playoff challenge
David: me too
David: that'd be nice

The Nashville Tennessean reports Vince Young on Monday "indicated to those around him he didn't want to play football any more." The Titans may be planning to move on without him.

This isn't the first time we've heard this from Young. And "there are indications" the team is ready to move forward with Kerry Collins, even when Young gets healthy. And that assumes Young even wants his job back. Young's mother, rightly concerned, pleaded for people to give her son "space" and "love." But it won't be so simple. A psychologist reported Young was "extremely depressed" and one wonders when (and if) he'll see the field again. Sep. 9 - 10:43 pm et

Here's to hoping TEN signs Tavaris Jackson!

Jagwired'd is to moderators as a wrongfully accused killer is to the court of law.

I show off my anger after Jags losses. I can't help myself.

Here's to hoping TEN signs Tavaris Jackson!

He is, potentially, the only worse option than Vince Young.
