1) OT/G: I'd love to get Eugene Monroe late in the first round he was projected to be an early 1st rounder and I think he has some awesome potential!! a G like Duke Robinson could go here as well. I would not mind that at all!

2) DT: Big John is almost 30, Meir is over 30. T-Mac is injured every year, Stroud got traded, Landri is a pass rushing tackle, and Jimmy Kennedy... well yea he's Jimmy Kennedy. we need to find a big nasty guy here like Fili Moali thats just a monster to become the other half of the Henderstroud combo but its more like Hendermoali now lol. a big DT to get a push up the middle could really help our pass rush out!

3) WR: some people may criticise me on this but I really feel that we need to draft a WR here since we need to find "that guy" to just simply be "that guy". Jones and Williams are nice possesion WR's. Northcutt is a good slot WR and on the DL with Garrard. Porter is supposed to be the man and I think he could be and since Williamson really hasn't seen the field I think we look for a deep threat guy here. if Walker steps up and becomes "that guy" then we don't need to draft one here. also we could look for one in the 2nd round...

4) OC: if Drew Miller isn't the answer (I think he is!!) then we need to draft a developmental guy here to replace Meester in a few years since Meester is in his 30's and just had an injury. we should train him under Meester who is a great C and can help breed the next lights out C for this franchise after he leaves.

5) QB: Garrard is 30 and Lemon was never meant to be a starter. (even though I like Paul Smith I heard that he just doesn't play that well...) so we could get a nice developmental guy like Mark Sanchez here to learn under garrard for a few years and then take the reigns and not miss a beat when Garrard decides to hang it up!

6) ???: BAP? I really don't know what to get here... I want to say OG but I mean you could find a quality CB here as well that could be groomed to play NB.

thats the way I see it going down...

You can pretty much bet on them drafting a QB next year.

Them who? The Jags? I think it's a little early in the season to be saying that with any certainty. Garrard is looking better than he did the first two weeks. When the O-line gets healthy, he will be even better. I doubt the Jags draft a QB next year with the money they have tied up in their starter and back up.

the reason they WOULD draft a QB is b/c Garrard has a lot left in him... the 5th round QB is a developmental guy as in someone to learn under Koetter, Garrard, and Shula while we still have another QB....

need #1: o-line-what can you say, it needs work. The patches this year are decent but need youth to solidify the line. Mester is getting old and Barnes is only decent at Lt, he would be better served as a back-up

#2:te-Mercedes is under utilized and Estanida is good but we could use a Heap or Shockey type that will block well and catch

#3:wr-how many recievers have we drafted and still don't have a deep threat?

#4:dt-Tony McDaniel is always hurt, Henderson and Meier are getting old and Landri is not a starting caliber DT in this league.

#5 qb-we need a developmental qb to take the helm when Garrard is gone

So if ML is under utilzed why would we draft another TE that would block well and catch?

Why do you think Drew Miller is the answer?

in TC he showed potential. he's raw but I think at the worst he'd make for a solid backup like Norman is. he was a beast in the Oklahoma drill but thats really not something you go by lol. he has the physical tools and I like his potential so thats why I think he's the answer!
