Don't Take Life Too Seriously

We played a real good football team, less than a week after we went through incredible emotional stress. 

We played it with three injured offensive linemen and only seven offensive linemen dressed.

Yet we played them within one touchdown. 

Oh and as they say, we can only go up from here, because overall that game was bad.

1. Witherspoon - he looks like a special player and he gave us great field position several times.  Too bad we couldn't capitalize.

2. Matt Jones - on a day when we needed a WR to step up, Jones gave us a few brief moments of hope.  He played semi-tough and even made a tackle on an INT after the questionable throw.

3. Defense - until it really counted at the end, the defense played pretty well.  They kept us in the game with some tenacious play in the middle of the game.  Lack of QB pressure is still a huge problem and I'm worried about wehn we face a half way decent QB.  I thought the defense was going to win it for us some how, but it was not to be.
