The Chargers have until 1:15 pct today to sell the remaining tickets to their home opener against the Panthers or face a blackout.  See Jag fans although you've been made to believe selling tickets is only a problem in North Florida rest assured that it's not.

Oakland barely made the Thursday cutoff for their game.

The Falcons needed a corporate bailout for their home opener.

The Bills just made the cut as well.

It's not just us people!

I'm not sure.  The thing that puzzles me is it's not being reported on ESPN.com or sportsline.com, yet if it was the Jags there would be mulitple links to national sports websites.  A bit of a double standard me thinks.

No one seems to remember but the Falcons before Mike Vick never sold out.

I guess the Chargers will be moving to L.A. after all.

The Los Angeles Chargers.  Hmm, sounds better than the Los Angeles Jaguars.

The Chargers and Oaklands stadiums are smaller.  The Falcons and Bills are larger.  What boggles my brain is that Foxsports.com rated Oakland with some of the best fans but since they moved back to Oakland, over 70% of their games have been blacked out.

The economy is not good right now.  The Chiefs will have 3 or 4 blackouts this year.

The Chargers were bailed out by their local fox affiliate.

The new Fox 5 San Diego has guaranteed the purchase of enough tickets to lift the television blackout on Sunday’s game between the Chargers and the Carolina Panthers. Kickoff is 1:15 pm.
