| Central Michigan @ Georgia - I think Dan LeFevour and the Chippewas can keep this game close for a little while, but slim chance they pull out a W between the hedges. I think UGA may come out without much fire to start the game, but Stanford and co. will turn it on and turn the game into a laugher. Expect the defense to create a turnover to turn the tide of the game. How often will the Dawgs use Moreno after slightly coming up lame last week?
Georgia 45, Central Michigan 20
Miami at Florida - It's a rivalry game so anything can happen in the Swamp on Saturday night. Miami is looking to prove its name belongs among the elite once again, and Florida wants to show the world they own the state of Florida. Miami should keep it close early with so much emotion, and it will be interesting to see how the Gators respond to the Hurricane's intensity. But expect Florida to be amped up to after losing 6 straight in the series. The Gators pull away in the second half.
Florida 41, Miami 17
West VA @ East Carolina - Sorry Pirates fans, but keep dreaming. It wasn't much of a surprise to see ECU beat VT last week, but I'd be stunned to see it happen this week against a much better WVA team. The Mountaineers duo of Pat White and Noel Devine is nearly impossible to stop, and Bill Stewart has White throwing the ball much better this season, so far. I don't see this one being close.
West VA 49, ECU 24
Ole Miss @ Wake Forest - This matchup looked a lot better three weeks ago before the Rebels suffered a rash of injuries, especially on the DL losing Greg Hardy. The Rebels head to Wake with talented transfer Jevan Snead at the helm. Snead can make plays with both his feet and arm which will keep the WF defense off-balance. But Wake has the experience with all those 5th-year seniors and Riley Skinner is the best QB in the ACC not named Cullen Harper (although debateable after the debacle in Atlanta). Wake Forest is too good on defense and too tricky on offense to be upset at home
Wake Forest 27, Ole Miss 17
Miami (OH) @ Michigan - For a second straight season, we will see Big Blue start the year 0-2 with consecutive losses to unranked opponents at home? Utah is a very good team, but Michigan had chances to win that game. The defense was phenomonal in the 2nd half, but the offense couldn't do anything. All of their scores came via mistakes by Utah that allowed the Wolverines to start in opponent's territory. The Red Hawks are good, but I think the Michigan defense will shut them down. The defense will create opportunites for the offense like last week, and the Wolverines pull out a squeaker in Ann Arbor.
Michigan 20, Miami (OH) 14 |

| I just don't see it happening.
Sean Glennon is no Pat White. Understatement of the year, by the way. Too much offense for ECU. If VT even has a decent offense, they win the game. Tyrod Taylor at QB and VT wins I think. Beamer was hoping to get an extra year out of Taylor but now the redshirt is gone and VT is already trying to climb out of an 0-1 hole. There's still hope in the ACC, though. VT can still earn a bid to the Orange Bowl. |

He may have a Tebow-like TD total this year.

I watched that ECU-WVO game. ECU's Defensive Line was absolutely whipping WVU up front. On every snap there was a surge into the backfield and they started killing that Spread Option by stunting the D-Linemen and constantly dropping a DE back for a zone-blitz look.
I think ECU runs the table now, unless they start reading their own press clippings.
Go heavy early.
