Vanderbilt has really become a thorn in the side of SC. If they hadn't lost to Vandy last year they could have been 7-5 with maybe a better bowl bid.

I was hoping they'd defeat Vandy and possibly make atleast a good show at Georgia, but I'm just not convinced it's there. The offense had some tempo issues last season and it looks like they still have them. They aren't hitting a strong enough stride to establish a ball control offense. They are close but not close enough and it think that was a large part of Smelley's 2 picks. He's got to get a little better on his reads to keep the team out of momentum trouble because I still think at times they are very much a momentum team.

McKinley left early with a hamstring. Hope it wasn't anything major. I think he only needs like 7 catches and about 200 yards to break Sterling Sharpe's school records.
