Ugh. This could get ugly. Did anybody watch him in the preseason. He looked awful. Maybe they want to guarantee themselved a top 5 pick next year.

I think Joe Flacco will end up being fine, he's shown flashes and who knows maybe a real game will make his flashes more than just flashes.

Even though I think Joe will end up fine I still thought Troy should've been the starter. He strikes me as a guy who just wins and that's what the Ravens need, someone who wins.

He just won that National Championship game.

It was incredible.

I tend to agree. I think Flacco made steady progress over the preseason but naming him the starter over Smith....I dunno. I kind of figured Smith didn't see a lot of playing time in preseason because they wanted to get Flacco as much work in as possible but apparently Harbaugh really liked what he saw.

I always find that quote "someone who wins" to mean, a bad quarterback whose team overcomes his inefficiencies.

At least he gets to play the Bengals....

He's looked terrible in the preseason.

Ravens might win 5 games this season tops.  They still have some serious talent on D, but even that unit is getting thin in spots.

 TMD on Mike Walker Sep.7:
"because he stinks"
"Why don't you get it? WTH has this player done, besides be an OTA wonder?"
"In the exhibition games, he's shown eggo hands."
"It's like you people are truly shocked/ mystified/ surprised that Harris produced another bust."

He really has. He looks clueless. But Harbaugh's job is safe and they can get a good draft pick.

I believe I read Troy Smith as been battling some illness--tonsilitis or sinus infection maybe--this last week. Don't think he got to practice much. If you don't practice, you don't start opening week.
