| | Didn't know if it has been posted, but KC's Tony Gonzalez is a FREE AGENT and is Suspended. http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d80a6918f&template=without-video&confirm=true 11 Players and it reads.... Former Broncos running back Travis Henry headlines a list of 11 free agents that have been suspended by the NFL, reports NFL Netwok's Adam Schefter. Their suspensions will begin immediately and will last until they are reinstated by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. The suspended players are eligible to be signed by any club, but must be signed no later than 4:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday of any week and the signing club must make room on its 53-player Active List for at least one business day. The suspended players: Adrian Awason, DE, 4 games; Jonathan Clinkscale, G, 4 games; Tony Gonzalez, WR, 4 games; Mario Haggan, LB, 4 games; Travis Henry, RB, at least one year; Luke Petitgout, T, 4 games; Dexter Reid, DB, 4 games; Darrion Scott, DE, 3 games; E.J. Underwood, DB, 4 games; Jimmy Williams, DB, 5 games; Cedrick Wilson, WR, 1 game. I thought this guy was a franchise superstar in KC. Big time player like Fred Taylor is to us. NFL might just be crumbling in player behavier.

| In the last couple of days we’ve covered several players who have been placed on their teams’ reserve/suspended list while they sit out for various violations of team or league policy. But there are also 11 free agents who are currently under suspension. NFL Netwok’s Adam Schefter reports that the list of suspended players not currently under contract consists of defensive end Adrian Awason (four games), guard Jonathan Clinkscale (four games), wide receiver Tony Gonzalez (four games — NOTE: not the Tony Gonzalez who plays for the Chiefs), linebacker Mario Haggan (four games), running back Travis Henry (at least one year), tackle Luke Petitgout (four games), defensive back Dexter Reid (four games), defensive end Darrion Scott (three games), defensive back E.J. Underwood (four games), defensive back Jimmy Williams (five games) and wide receiver Cedrick Wilson (one game). Some of those suspensions had previously been reported, and some of those players are borderline guys who might not get offered a roster spot anywhere even if they were model citizens. Petitgout may be the player on the list with the best chance of playing this season; although he’s coming off two straight injury-shortened seasons, there’s always a demand in the NFL for left tackles.

I only gave links to them above. I think everyone on this site knows that Tony Gonzalez is a TE unlike the reporter/writer who wrote up the article on the 11 suspensions. I don't know of a Tony Gonzalez that plays WR in the NFL.
