| In other words: Belicheck picked him in the second round....so he HAS to be good...because only SHACK drafts bad players......
How come you aren't advocating we throw a coupla draft pics and R Williams at Ashlee Lelie....oh wait, maybe because he's now a STREET FREE AGENT???

| | Very interesting concept considering the guys talent and numbers on paper. If we didn't have Troy Williamson then we would probably take a shot. Somebody will take a shot with the guy though. Hard to overlook the measurables even if he has trouble putting it together on the field.

Hard to overlook the measurables even if he has trouble putting it together on the field. Well everyone has overlooked his measurables so far... I believe he has until tomorrow before he doesn't have to have a guarenteed contract? I would ask 02 to validate that statement however. Someone would likely pick up the guy if they don't have to guarentee him a year long base salary.

Was said to have had a GREAT offseason/ OTA's.
Played poorly in preseason games, but had Brady throwing to him in none of those games.
A better QB might have helped Jackson look better in preseason.
Dude has speed. Rare speed. Can't "teach" that.
Good size as well. 6' 1", 215. Thats like Jimmy Smith type stature.
Jeez, am I talking my self into making a case for the Jags giving him a look???

So if you're alright with an unproven WR in the 6'1"-6'2" range who weighs 210-215 and who has great speed despite a bad knee, what's your beef with Mike Walker again?

| Like I said before to TMD.
Mike Walker has MUCH more potential than Chad Jackson.
Even Gator fans would agree - and they watched him everytime he played!
Walker WILL be this team's number 1 after this season. I'll guarantee it. He's that good.

| If we didn't have 6 guys right now then I'd want to take a look. But there is no one to cut and we're not gonna keep 7 wr's.
